SESSION OF CHILDREN’S CITY COUNCIL OF OPATIJA

The session was held in the City Hall of Opatija of the 14th convocation of the Children’s City Council of the City of Opatija. 
The session was attended by the Mayor of the City of Opatija Fernando Kirigin, Deputy Mayor Kristina Đukić, representatives of the Professional Services of the City of Opatija and Elementary School “Rikard Katalinić Jeretov” Opatija. 
The councilors presented to those present the activities that were held on the occasion of Children’s Week 2024, the international participation of councilors in international organizations and bringing new comments and strategies through the work of focus groups, proposals for a large city budget that they collected from their peers and the competition that they announced “My hands grow bigger and bigger for you, because I want to give you luck too” for the allocation of CCC funds.
Adults in the city were asked questions of their peers. They also announced the activities that will mark Children’s Rights Month of SOC Opatija.
