SAY YES TO SPORT IN OPATIJA

Councilors of the 14th convocation of the Children’s City Council of the City of Opatija took part in the celebration of the Opatija Sports Day!
The main goal of the Opatija Sports Day is to educate and inform citizens of all age groups about the benefits of sports and recreation and useful and healthy leisure time, to introduce the public to the local sports community and the work of associations and societies in Opatija that carry out activities for children’s free time, and to involve as many people as possible to become citizens in sports (with an emphasis on children and young people).
The organizer of the event is the Sports Association of the city of Opatija, the co-organizers are the Society “Our children” Opatija, the Sports Recreation Club “Gorovo” and the Primary School “R.K. Jeretov” Opatija, and the event is held under the auspices of the City of Opatija – City of Opatija Children’s Friend and City of Opatija Healthy City.
Our councilors presented the work and activities of the Children’s City Council of the City of Opatija, played games and collected proposals from their peers for the large city budget.
