The aim of the project is to develop and improve activities that contribute to strengthening the competences and raising the awareness of children who are members of the Children’s council and Children’s forum, as well as children of district schools for the development of sustainable local communities with an emphasis on the active participation of children. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education.

The beneficiaries of the project are: councilors of the 14th convocation of Children’s City Council Opatija, Children’s forum Lovran, students of the lower grades of regional schools “Rikard Katalinić Jeretov” Opatija – Ičići, Veprinac and regional school Viktor Car Emin Lovran – “Eugen Kumičić” Mošćenička Draga.

Project activities will be:
1. Educational interactive workshops for councilors of the 14th convocation of Children’s City Council Opatija, participants of the extended stay of elementary school Viktor Car Emin Lovran, students of lower grades of regional schools in Veprinac, Ičići and Mošćenička Draga
2. “Creativity to a sustainable city” implementation of a creative workshops in local areas

The project “Sustainable city – with children and for children” is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education. The content of workshops and publications are the sole responsibility of the Society “Our Children” Opatija.
