NEF CROATIA

We held a meeting of NEF Croatia! We learned more about marking 100 years of children’s rights and 35 years since the adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. 
We learned more about the state of children’s rights in the world and the crisis of children’s rights.
We participated in the adoption of the General Comment on the 27th through consultations at the invitation of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child.
General Comment 27 is related to the child’s right to access justice and effective legal remedies. It is adopted by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, which consists of 18 experts in the field of children’s rights.
Our NEF members discussed what is needed to keep children safe, how to act when children’s rights are violated and who to turn to so that justice is available to everyone.
The work of NEF Croatia is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy. The content of the publication is the sole responsibility of the Society “Our children” Opatija.
