MEETING OF CHILDREN’S COUNCILS, FORUM AND NEF CROATIA WITH PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATIVES

Representatives of the Children’s City Council of the City of Opatija and the Children’s Forum participated today in the meeting of the members of the Children’s Councils, Forums and NEF of Croatia with members of the parliament in the framework of the project “Influence, not just a decoration”.
The representatives of the Croatian Parliament were present at the meeting: Dubravka Novak, Ivana Kekin, Majda Burić, Sandra Benčić, Anka Mrak Taritaš, Vesna Vučemilović, Nikolina Baradić, Director of the Directorate for Education Vesna Šerepac, and Ombudsman for Children of the Republic of Croatia Helenca Pirnat Dragičević.
Veronika, Paola, Lana and Leon presented the international activities of achieving active children’s participation at the local, national and global level and the involvement of our small councilors and forum members to the adults in the Parliament.
Together, they presented the appeal of the children of the Mediterranean Movement for Children’s Participation to adults in the world related to the protection of children, peace in the world and the realization of children’s rights!
