On Thursday, we participated in an interactive workshop at the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, where Associate Professor Dr.Sc. Ivana Borić presented Analyzes of relevant aspects of children’s participation and procedures (guidelines). The analysis was made for the purpose of implementing one of the measures of the National Plan for Children’s Rights in the Republic of Croatia and the corresponding Action Plan for the period from 2022 to 2024.
This measure prescribes the creation of procedures for the inclusion of children in the development and adoption of public documents at the local, regional and national level, the purpose of which is the creation of procedures that will contribute to and facilitate the inclusion of children in the development and adoption of public policies at the local, regional and national level.
The children and leaders of the Children’s Councils from Čakovec, Križevci, Opatija, Pregrada, Velika Gorica and Zabok participated and gave their contribution with suggestions and exchange of opinions. Our Children’s Council was presented by Ante, Lana and Paola.
