Sanja Škorić, the secretary of our association and vice-president of the Union of SOC Croatia, is a member of the Executive Board of the Mediterranean Movement for Children’s Participation, which is headquartered in Malta.
The MCM organization promotes active children’s participation, realizing children’s rights and fighting poverty in the Mediterranean!
The president of the organization is Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, former president of the Republic of Malta.
At the online general assembly, Fran, a member of the 1st convocation of the Mediterranean Movement for Children’s Participation, together with her mentor Antonia, presented the work of the Children’s Council of the City of Opatija and active children’s participation at the local level! At the general assembly, the work program was adopted, members were elected and we dealt with the issue of poverty and social exclusion in the Mediterranean.
