What did we do at the workshops of Children’s City Council of the City of Opatija in November 2023?
We held a workshop with our councilors on the topic of realizing and respecting human rights.
The councilors gave their opinions through questions and discussion, which they combined on posters that we will send to the UN special rapporteur on the position of human rights defender Mary Lawlor.
We also held a trust and cooperation workshop! We wrote messages related to trust: we learned what it means, how to encourage trust among friends, what it means to be a good friend, who are the people we trust.
We discussed the state of children’s rights in the world today, we made posters and raised our little thumbs up for premature born children!
We had fun and played games on each and every workshop!
