After the presentation of the project “Children’s City Council” at the “Rikard Katalinić Jeretov” Primary School in Opatija and the Viktor Cara Emina Primary School in Lovran, the students’ candidacies were submitted to the relevant department of the City of Opatija.
A total of 40 applications for councilors were received, and according to the Statute of the Children’s City Council of the City of Opatija, the list of candidates for councilors of the 15th convocation of the Children’s City Council is being published.
The pre-election campaign of the candidates lasts until March 31st, 2025, and the elections for the new convocation of the Children’s City Council will be held on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 in primary schools.
